Αξίζει να σημειωθεί ότι για πρώτη φορά στην ιστορία των Χρυσών Σφαιρών κέρδισε βραβείο ταινία της Marvel.

Επίσης για πρώτη φορά κέρδισε βραβείο στον διαγωνισμό και η ηθοποιός Michelle Yeoh.
